After matriculating, I went to Wits where I did a BA(ed).
I taught at Clapham for 5 years before marrying Cliff. 
I then left and worked in translating and copy-editing for several years
- re-entering teaching when my boys went to school.
We have two sons, Craig, now 19 and Christopher, now 16.
We moved to Jhb 15 years ago, but I still consider myself a Pretoria girl!
Cliff works with Standard Bank and I have been teaching Afrikaans at Hyde Park High
for several years now. Craig is at Wits, studying a BA with the emphasis on law
and Chris is in Gr 11 at Hyde Park.
Cliff is an avid yachtsman and so we spend a lot of time on the Vaal, sailing.
Apart from teaching, I am kept busy fundraising for and organising the matric dance at HP
- and reading is still one of my favourite past-times.
We have quite a menagerie - 2 German Shepherds, a boxer, a maltese and two lorikeets,
which is also quite time consuming!
I still see a lot of Sue Carte, and am still in touch with Margie Scott and Chantal Prince. Facebook has recently got me back in touch with Serena Rotunno and Cheryl Chum.
